Making A Difference in Haiti!

Stampin′ Up! demonstrators have a long history of making a difference in the lives of others--especially when disaster strikes and the need is greatest. So it was not surprising that so many demonstrators have contacted Stampin' Up! in the past week asking what the plan is for helping to provide relief for those who continue to suffer from the effects of the earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12.

Here is the plan:

  • From now until February 28, 2010, $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set demonstrators sell (or buy) will be donated American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund.
  • The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.
  • I {Heart} Hearts – clear-mount  (block D recommended 118485 $8.50)  118571 $18.95
  • I {Heart} Hearts – wood-mount  117010 $26.95
  • This is a simple and straightforward plan; the more stamp sets we sell, the greater the difference we make. Often it is the simplest plans that work best!  Go to my website HERE and place your orders today!!  If your order is $50 or more, you will qualify for FREE SAB items!!

Haiti Relief Efforts - Stampin' Up Style!

The Occasions Mini Catalog Sample

OCCASIONS MINI CATALOG IS HERE!  Yes, you heard me the new Occasions Mini Catalog has arrived and along with it the Sale-A-Bration is also going on at this time.  With every $50.00 of product purchased you can choose an item from the Sale-A-Bration brochure along with a few select stamp sets from the current 2009/2010 Catalog.

The biggest news to hit the fan is the announcement that Stampin' Up! is now offering Cling Mounted Stamps.  So you ask, what is Cling Mounted?  Cling Mounted is a rubber based stamp that "clings" to a clear acrylic block.  The wonderful thing about Cling Mounted Stamps is that it is easier to place your stamp when stamping a project and you can also put multiple stamps on one acrylic block for a collage effect...  But don't worry, if you LOVE the wood mounted rubber stamps that Stampin' Up! is known for, we still have those in all the new stamp sets as well.  At this time, the Cling Mounted Stamps are only available in the Occasions Mini.  If you would like to learn more, please email me or give me a call.

Ah, what better way to express your love for someone by creating an handmade card!  Just think of the possibilities.  The card can be relatively simple or slightly more complex.  The choice is yours to make.

Stamping and Scrapbooking is how I express my love for my friends and family creating unique gifts.  Did you know that I can teach you and help you learn how to create beautiful cards, scrapbook pages and 3D gifts!

Recipe:

Cardstock:  Real Red
Designer Series Paper:  Sending Love
Ribbon:  5/8 Black Satin

Valentine Top Note Box

Earlier this week, I hosted a "Be My Valentine" Stamp Camp.  We had a lot of fun creating a couple of cards along with a 3D project using the Top Note Die.  This box was created using a pattern that I had received from my upline and I'm not certain where she obtained the pattern - so - I'll give credit to my upline, Jen Krieger, for the pattern and to whom ever else may have created the pattern as I'm certain you know who you are and I want to give you a big Thank You for this pattern. Update:  The pattern is from Becky Roberts :)

This Top Note box is just cute.  I haven't embellished the box yet but hope to soon when my Heart Embosslit arrives early next week!

I hope you enjoy the box and small 3x3 card sample!  If you look closely, you can see the tip of my kitty cats nose assisting in the "modeling" of the box and card!

I Love You!

Yes, I love you! When I was single, I dreaded the coming of Valentines Day because it meant all those couples "In Love" would be going out to celebrate. It was a holiday that just made me a little depressed.

Now I have my special someone (and, no, I don't mean my Little Guy, Caleb). The love of my life is Mike! Sometimes we forget to show our love for each other in tangible ways by just getting caught up in our daily lives and that is where I've learned Valentines Day reminds us to love those that are in our lives even if they are single. Sometimes, the best way to show that love is by sending them a special card or note telling them that we care and are thinking about them.  Of course, CHOCOLATE is always appreciated ;)

To help me show my love, I enjoy creating handmade cards, 3D projects and scrapbooks. Lately, I've been more focused on creating handmade cards and wanted to share one of my latest creations.

Welcome 2010!

Wow! 2009 is gone and we are already into the middle of January 2010! This past year has been chock full of wonderful events in the lives of my husband and I. At the end of March I became a Stampin' Up! demo which I've thoroughly been enjoying then at the end of September I became a new mom with the adoption of our son, Caleb!

I'm really looking forward to 2010. New challenges and opportunities are just waiting. There is so much I want to do with Stampin' Up! and it is my hope that it all comes to fruition over the next 11 months while maintaining the balancing act of being a new mom along with caring for my wonderful husband.

To my wonderful friends and clients this past year, I say thank you for your support and I look forward to sharing a wonderful 2010 with you!
