KISS (Keep It Simple Sweetie)

There are numerous Stampin' Up! demonstrator blogs that I enjoy following especially for ideas but I really have to mention two of those blogs today.  The first blog is Stampin' Pretty by Stampin' Up! Demo Mary Fish and the second blog is her teams challenge blog called Pals Paper Arts.  Earlier this week, Pals Paper Arts announced a new challenge called "KISS" which stands for "Keep It Simple Sweetie."

One of my greatest challenges is creating simple, great looking cards and this challenge really caught my eye and I decided it was time for me to participate in a Pals Paper Arts challenge.  I hope you find inspiration and know that simple cards are a wonderful way to create beautiful, handmade cards that are quick, easy and just as beautiful as the most complicated cards.

For your viewing pleasure, here are two cards that I created for PPA30 - KISS (Keep It Simple Sweetie) challenge:

Card # 1 Recipe:
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Ribbon:  1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain
Punches:  1 3/8 Circle Punch; Scallop Circle Punch
Embellishments:  Jumbo Eyelets
Stamp Sets:  Short & Sweet, Fox & Friends

Card # 2 Recipe:
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Ribbon:  Organza Ribbon
Punches:  1 3/8 Circle Punch; Scallop Circle Punch
Embellishments:  Jumbo Eyelets
Stamp Sets:  Short & Sweet, Fox & Friends

That little monkey is so cute! Original baby card - those grommets work perfectly with your design. Thanks for playing at Pals Paper Arts!
